Short Biography of Hagai Bar-El
Hagai Bar-El is an independent information security analyst specializing in security analysis of applications and secure system design. Mr. Bar-El’s expertise includes: the design of security systems that utilize cryptographic schemes; robustness evaluation of product designs; and security related standardization activities. He also assists venture capitals in the evaluation of emerging technologies related to these fields.
Mr. Bar-El is involved in information security projects for public and private sector companies. During the course of his career Mr. Bar-El has been involved with a long list of major corporate clients that includes ECI Telecom, Amdocs, Rafael, IDB, Bezeq, Israel Electric Corp., Radvision, Isracard, and more.
Mr. Bar-El is an inventor of several patent pending technologies related to securing information using cryptography and to secure authentication in specific environments. Among his publications are also papers that were published by IEEE and IEE. Papers that were written, and that are available for the public, are also on the subjects of digital rights management, biometrics, attacks against smartcards, and renewability.
